On the surface, walking around a track over and over may not seem too productive. But when done during the Relay for Life, it can make a world of difference to people battling cancer.

Chantilly Snapshot: Advancing to National Competition
The Nysmith Science Bowl team — Vaibhav Sharma, Ajit Kadaveru, Anusha Allamsetty, Ishaan Kumar and Kaien Yang — won the Virginia Regional Science Bowl and advances to national competition. The team was awarded the winners trophy, individual medals and prize money in an over-sized check for $750.

Centreville: Death Ruled as Homicide
On Sunday, April 24, at approximately 4:24 p.m., patrol officers from the Sully District Station were called to a residence in the 5600 block of Gresham Lane for a report of an unresponsive adult male.
